Övergripande uppdragsbeskrivning

We are now looking for a Project Manager for Hercules Materials & Stock handling to our customer NCC. Consultant need to be based in Sweden.

Description:
Efficient material supply is an important prerequisite for a successful project to be completed on time. To secure flexibility and ensure solid quality at all levels, Hercules produce concrete and sheet piles in self-owned modern factories.

Maximo is currently used for stock & material management of sheet piles, beams and concrete piles. Supporting main activity as: inventory raw materials, workorder, planning, production, delivery , stock & logistics, invoicing. In addition, sheet piles are also sold as “rentals” (handle return etc).
Maximo is “End of Life”.

Idea – high level scope – Evaluation phase:
Deeper analysis of current situation and identified challenges. Set requirements and identify needed functionality

Objective:
Primarily reduce risk from EoL situation. In addition, improve functionality and hence quality of stock and materials handling in Hercules.

Background – need for change
Trigger to analyze situation and investigate possibilities:

Primarily the system, Maximo is “End of Life”.
No support Maximo Hercules after 2022.
Secondarily, current functionality do not meet the business needs.
Maximo was initially not built to handle management of materials and stock. Adaptions was made when developing for Hercules.

Expected benefit:
Prime benefit is reduced risk from End fo Life situation. Supported technical platform. Functionality supporting business way of working. Reduced IT-cost.

In addition – Improved business benefits:
Higher automation – less adminstration and manuel handling in the system
Transparancy – meeting customer requirments of traceability and documentation
Improved control of pricing and flexibility in tenders and orders. invoicing, etc.
Improved control of stock, materials, rentals. Incl. forecasting and financial control.

Challenge risk
Risk (if not changed):
Technical platform “End of Life”. Gradually risk for system deviations and not able to develop nor maintain. Currently high dependency to individual system experts. Worst case: major functionality not working. Complex system requires excessive use of consultants (update prices etc.)
Missing functionality in current system and deviations. Leading to low control on status stock / inventory. Impacting on forecasting and financial control. (incl. rentals)
Inefficient administration is time consuming and driving cost.
Not meeting customer demand for efficient order handling, delivery and transparency.

Skallkrav

Several years of experience working as a Project Manager
Previous experience working with Asset Management-systems
Experience working in a similar role(s) in previous assignment(s)
Excellent ability in Swedish and English language (oral and written)
