Description:
Project Management is responsible for Project execution incl. fulfilment of scope, quality, financial and time constraints. We have two project management models to apply:
• Projects where a gate model is uses as guidance or as governance support.
• Projects within the SAFe setup at UM. In this case the project is called an EPIC and the project owner is called Epic owner.
Senior PM / Senior Epic Owner: Lead the execution of medium size to large and moderately complex projects / Epics and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with HITACHI ENERGY policies, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, as well as schedule commitments. Leads the project team, establishes the project execution approach, and oversees project hand-over, execution planning, and monitoring and control activities for both internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
Senior Project Manager with the support of project team / SAFe tems is responsible for successful execution /delivery of assigned project(s) on-time, within budget with on- quality & safety framework of HITACHI ENERGY.
– HITACHI ENERGY Certified Senior Project Manager or PMP® Certified Senior Project Manager or IPMA Level B/C certification.
– Certified SAFe Agilist, Scrum Master, Product owner/ Product Manager
– Ability to work with projects of different size, complexity and contractual types.
– Ability to assess, propose and implement solutions for rapid recovery of troubled or challenged projects (need based).
Knowledge, Skills and Experience;
• Minimum six (6) years’ experience managing projects, within relevant field, ideally managing complex projects.
• Relevant field for MACH EPIC owners is Electronics product development including Hardware, software, FPGA and mechanics development.
• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering with domain experience in HITACHI ENERGY business, or
• Another technical degree with 10-15 years of work experience within relevant field.
• Communicate fluent in English language.
Additional Hiring Information for Supplier
Location can be either in Västerås or Ludvika office. Some days needs to be able to be at site in Ludvika office, Hitachi Energy bus is available to commute with.
We are looking for a R&D project manager to drive the feasibility study to develop a solution for inspection of HVDC valve halls.
Your responsibilities
• Develop detailed time plan, schedules, project estimates and resource plan for the project.
• Collect and clarify requirements with multiple stakeholders, technical experts.
• Drive project execution in a transparent and efficient way and ensure quality and timeliness of project deliverables.
• Work on risk management with the team to address potential risks and uncertainties associated with the implementation of new solution.
• Collaborate with other development teams, Manufactures, testing facilities, Stakeholders, Product Owners, Line management during project execution.
Your background
• University degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in electrical engineering, mechatronics or similar.
• More than 5 years of project management experience in leading R&D projects.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to lead geographically dispersed teams in multi-site global environment.
• Fluency in English required, Swedish is a plus but not mandatory.
Some remote work could be possible in dialogue with manager.

Levels with numbers (1-5): Increasing experience from 1=Very Junior up to 5=Very Experienced
Levels with letters (A-F): Increasing experience from F=Very Junior up to A=Very Experienced

PLEASE NOTE: From the offered hourly rate, the contractual fee of 4.23% (MSP 2,13% + KeyMan 2,1%) will be deducted.
If we end up in a contract the consultant must undergo a drug test before the assignment can start. The consultant then also must have a certificate for SSG-Entré and sign a NDA.
Some remote work WITHIN SWEDEN could be possible in dialogue with manager, but Onsite preferred.
