Description:
Environmental and Employee Health & Safety work encompasses activities related to the environment (including the broader community impacted by environmental hazards) and employees including: Developing and implementing policies and practices to identify/mitigate hazardous conditions within the workplace and external environments. Investigating accidents and environmental incidents and liaising with engineers, management, and health and safety regulatory authorities to identify causes of accidents and prevent their recurrence. Providing advice and training on safety protocols and conducting audits to ensure compliance with organization and government standards related to environmental and employee heath and safety. Maintaining relationships with the community, environmental groups, and other stakeholders impacted by the environmental performance of the organization.
A Senior Professional (P3) applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities may include: Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision. Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.

This position is needed to strengthen the HSE Governance team in Ludvika. As an ISO & HSE Specialist your main responsibilities will be to drive the Health, Safety and environmental work with focus on drive the HVDC global management review work. The main focus of the HSE support is to strengthen and support HSE Governance department to drive and follow up the global HVDC HSE process of HVDC yearly management review:
Your responsibilities
- Drive and promote a strong HSE culture within HVDC, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018. Focus on yearly management review within ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.
- Support and coach HSE & CI team and their managers and key functions on how to act and what to do. Lead the HVDC HSE management review process. Guide and help HSE and CI specialist to drive the work in each management team to keep the topic on the agendas.
- Conclude and analyze the HVDC overall work with yearly management review, to see patterns, root causes, risks and trends within the organization. Deliver value-added findings, opportunities for improvements and best practices in a constantly changing and growing environment. Monitoring, analyzing and providing monthly feedback to the HSE and CI and their Management teams regarding management review action performance (goals, actions and KPI:s). Also assisting in developing action plans to continuously improve safety, health, and environmental performance.
- Train, coach and support the organization in Health, Safety and Environmental ISO “topics”.
- Provide assistance and support to external and internal audit team as required. Support internal audits of management systems against the requirements of ISO 45001:2018. Also support within ISO and alignment to Hitachi Energy Operating system (Global Hitachi Energy management system).
- You shall have a background working with health, safety and environmental topics, ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 and Yearly management review in large global organizations/companies.

- You have solid communication and influencing skills to address and build trust with people on different organizational levels.
- As you will be part of an international environment English is a must, both written and spoken. Local presence required and Swedish is a must.
- You have a university degree in bachelor or master´s, preferably within health and safety, or related field. Competence and knowledge in Swedish work environmental legislation is a must.
- Knowledge of the ISO 45001:2015, ISO 14001:2015

PLEASE NOTE: From the offered hourly rate, the contractual fee of 4.23% (MSP 2,13% + KeyMan 2,1%) will be deducted.
If we end up in a contract the consultant must undergo a drug test before the assignment can start. The consultant then also must have a certificate for SSG-Entré and sign a NDA.
