Description:
Environmental and Employee Health & Safety work encompasses activities related to the environment (including the broader community impacted by environmental hazards) and employees including: Developing and implementing policies and practices to identify/mitigate hazardous conditions within the workplace and external environments. Investigating accidents and environmental incidents and liaising with engineers, management, and health and safety regulatory authorities to identify causes of accidents and prevent their recurrence. Providing advice and training on safety protocols and conducting audits to ensure compliance with organization and government standards related to environmental and employee heath and safety. Maintaining relationships with the community, environmental groups, and other stakeholders impacted by the environmental performance of the organization.
A Senior Professional (P3) applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities may include: Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision. Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.

HVDC is looking for a Health, safety and Environmental specialist with electrical safety knowledge (HSE and electrical) specialist to work together with us in an international environment with plenty of opportunities. In this role you will be part of the HSE Governance team that is dedicated to support and drive HSE improvements in a global organization with several office locations, manufacturing’s, test facilities and several project- and service sites.
This position is needed to strengthen HVDC test facilities work and compliance to HSE and electrical safety regulations and standards. As an HSE and electrical specialist your responsibilities will be to drive Health, Safety, environmental and electrical safety improvement work. One main focus will be to create and strengthen electrical safety processes and instructions.
Your responsibilities
- Drive and promote a strong HSE culture by supporting and coach responsible managers and key functions on how to act and what to do.
- Deliver value-added findings, opportunities for improvements and best practices in a constantly changing and growing environment.
- Lead HSE improvement work with focus on electrical safety improvement work with processes and instructions, through a mix of coordinating work and own execution work.
- Background working with health, safety and electrical safety work.

- You have solid communication and influencing skills to address and build trust with people on different organizational levels.
- As you will be part of an international environment English is a must, both written and spoken. Local presence is required and Swedish is a must.
- You have a university degree in bachelor or master´s, preferably within health and safety / electrical safety, or related field. Competence and knowledge in Swedish work environmental legislation is a must including electrical safety legislation.
- Knowledge of creating RASI (Role and responsibilities matrix), work with creating clarity and act project leader for improvement work, work with delegation of work tasks vs delegation of responsibilities and experience of create processes and instructions.
- Merited is experience from work with Elsäkerhetslagen and Elsäkerhetsförordningen including experience of improvement work within health and electrical safety is required.

PLEASE NOTE: From the offered hourly rate, the contractual fee of 4.23% (MSP 2,13% + KeyMan 2,1%) will be deducted.
If we end up in a contract the consultant must undergo a drug test before the assignment can start. The consultant then also must have a certificate for SSG-Entré and sign a NDA.
The assignment is Onsite.
