Description:
Mechanical Engineering encompasses a variety of engineering assignments such as planning, designing, and modifying machinery, equipment, and products. It also co-ordinates activities internally and with other groups to effectively accomplish objectives requiring knowledge of associated functions and related engineering fields. Use computers and selected programs for such matters as preparing reports and conducting analyses.
Independently perform various engineering duties requiring the exercise of judgment and application of standard engineering principles and practices, towards set goals. Plan, conduct or coordinate a range of complex engineering activities encompassing one or more engineering disciplines. Conduct or coordinate complex analyses, advanced technical studies and develop recommendations based on sound engineering practices and business considerations as well as potentially legal and other agency requirements.
Minimum requirements of education and experience:
• Minimum six (6) years of work experience within the relevant field and a bachelor or master’s degree, or
• Another technical degree with more than 15 years of work experience within relevant field.
• Working command of the English language.

Cooling Systems in Landskrona is a market-leading supplier with customers all over the world. Together with 230 employees working with development and manufacturing in Landskrona and a growing market, we are now looking for more Mechanical Engineers to join our project team focusing on large units.
Join our current project team responsible for delivering our larger products. You will be part of one of three mechanical departments.

Your responsibilities
• Creating and evaluating the design of cooling system units to ensure suitability per customer requirements / manufacturability in projects mainly for HVDC.
• Ensuring that our delivery is made on time.
• Planning and executing multiple projects in various sizes.
• Ensuring high quality in our work and product.
• Close contact with the production department and other stakeholders, both internally and externally.
Your background
• We are looking for you with an academic degree in Engineering or several years of experience within mechanical engineering.
• Experience in planning and willing to learn about our products and production.
• You are analytical and have a strong drive to work structured and goal oriented.
• Experience in project engineering is a plus.
• Experience in pipe design is a plus.
• Experience of CAD, Solid Edge experience is a plus.
– Experience with SAP, Office package tools is a plus.
– Swedish and English is needed, both written and spoken, to be able to interact with both local and global stakeholders.
– Welding / assembling experience is a plus – any ’manual’, hands-on experience will help the successful candidate due to working in close proximity to Production teams.
– Good communicator: communication with internal teams as well as customers and suppliers.
– Sense of initiative, proactiveness, personable team player type personality as this role is very central.

PLEASE NOTE: From the offered hourly rate, the contractual fee of 4.23% (MSP 2,13% + KeyMan 2,1%) will be deducted.
If we end up in a contract the consultant must undergo a drug test before the assignment can start. The consultant then also must have a certificate for SSG-Entré and sign a NDA.
