Description:
Project Management is responsible for Project execution incl. fulfilment of scope, quality, financial and time constraints. We have two project management models to apply:
• Projects where a gate model is uses as guidance or as governance support.
• Projects within the SAFe setup at UM. In this case the project is called an EPIC and the project owner is called Epic owner.
Senior PM / Senior Epic Owner: Lead the execution of medium size to large and moderately complex projects / Epics and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with HITACHI ENERGY policies, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, as well as schedule commitments. Leads the project team, establishes the project execution approach, and oversees project hand-over, execution planning, and monitoring and control activities for both internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
Senior Project Manager with the support of project team / SAFe tems is responsible for successful execution /delivery of assigned project(s) on-time, within budget with on- quality & safety framework of HITACHI ENERGY.
– HITACHI ENERGY Certified Senior Project Manager or PMP® Certified Senior Project Manager or IPMA Level B/C certification.
– Certified SAFe Agilist, Scrum Master, Product owner/ Product Manager
– Ability to work with projects of different size, complexity and contractual types.
– Ability to assess, propose and implement solutions for rapid recovery of troubled or challenged projects (need based).
Knowledge, Skills and Experience;
• Minimum six (6) years’ experience managing projects, within relevant field, ideally managing complex projects.
• Relevant field for MACH EPIC owners is Electronics product development including Hardware, software, FPGA and mechanics development.
• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering with domain experience in HITACHI ENERGY business, or
• Another technical degree with 10-15 years of work experience within relevant field.
• Communicate fluent in English language.

Looking for a skilled and motivated Project Manager to lead an internal project aimed at driving the creation of our C&P MTDC Simulation Center. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in project management, with experience in CIMT approval processes, real estate collaboration and projects, material planning and purchasing, team management, and stakeholder management.
• CIMT Approval: Navigate and secure CIMT approvals for project initiative, create budget and depreciation plan, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Collaboration with Real Estate: Work closely with the real estate team to coordinate space planning, facility requirements, and oversee project readiness.
• Material Planning and Purchase: Oversee material planning and procurement processes for the material in the C&P MTDC Simulation Center, ensuring timely acquisition of necessary resources.
• Team Management: Lead and manage a cross-functional project team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders to gather requirements, provide project updates, and ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
• Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Reporting and Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide regular status reports to TK Core management and beyond.

- No technical scope per se as we have technical teams for this.
- Stakeholders: in real-estate, finance, senior management – a lot of interest in this project so need to deliver to these audiences and be the central point of contact for all involved.
- Interfacing – Material handling (logistics etc) teams, Production planning etc.
- The goal is delivering an engineered solution.
- Remote work possible but as many days onsite as possible especially in the beginning of the assignment – and when the project calls for more in person collaboration.

PLEASE NOTE: From the offered hourly rate, the contractual fee of 4.23% (MSP 2,13% + KeyMan 2,1%) will be deducted.
If we end up in a contract the consultant must undergo a drug test before the assignment can start. The consultant then also must have a certificate for SSG-Entré and sign a NDA.
