• Project execution, contract compliance, Hitachi Energy’s customer´s satisfaction/target fulfilment and financial results, for a project, or
• in a sub-project of a large project for the execution, contract compliance, Hitachi Energy’s customer´s satisfaction /target fulfilment and financial results. This typically includes negotiations with suppliers and Hitachi Energy’s customer representatives as well as handling deviations/claims.

• Lead Engineering within Project Engineering focuses on designing, communicating and implementing an operational plan for completing an engineering based project including: preparing designs, project controls and specifications, schedules, cost estimates, production, transportation, installation, testing and/or commissioning of new infrastructure, facilities, equipment, etc.
• Lead Engineer monitors progress and performance against the project plan; taking action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays. Identifying, developing, and gathering the resources necessary to complete the project. 
• Lead Engineers coach and review work of lower level engineers.

• Acts as a technical lead and design authority for engineering deliverables across all applicable engineering disciplines.
• Coordinates all technical activities during the complete project cycle – including testing and commissioning.
• Works closely with customers to shape and deliver solutions and utilizing feedback to drive the delivery of innovative improvements and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Works closely with colleagues and engineers across various disciplines, sharing technical knowledge and best practices cross border within the Hitachi PGGA HUB Europe Region.
• Prepares base design of substation automation systems, control and protection. Verifies the implemented base design within the detailed design project phase.
• Takes over aspects of the detail design engineering, testing or commissioning activities in relation to the project needs.
• Supports the Project Manager in costings to: submit estimations; issuing claims related to changes in project scope; assessing cost and time impacts as well as risk implications.
• Provides technical details, financial information and deliverables for sales proposals.
• Resolves complex technical issues both remotely and also whilst in person at domestic and international customer sites.
• Health, safety and environment (HSE). Ensures the project follows and complies with company health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Adopts the core values of safety and integrity – takes responsibility for their own actions while caring for colleagues and the business.

• Languages: mandatory Swedish and English.
• Remote work: Hybrid (50/50)
• Need to have: electrical engineering background with PM or Lead Engineer experience is mandatory.
