Övergripande uppdragsbeskrivning

We are now looking for a C# and Python-Developer for our customer in Umeå.

Our Customer is looking for an IT consultant to support the technology-driven and highly productive Risk Modelling team. The Customer is a multi-asset derivatives clearinghouse covering commodity, equity and fixed income products.

In this role you will support the Risk Modelling team consisting of seven quantitative analysts and one software developer. The team is responsible for developing and maintaining the risk models used by the clearinghouse to manage the various financial risks associated with the derivatives clearing business, such as counterparty, market and liquidity risk. You will play a prominent role in maintaining and developing the systems and infrastructure used by the team.

The team is currently in the process of migrating parts of its current technology stack to a cloud-based (AWS) platform. In this role you will support/offload the software developer in the team in the day-to-day work of maintaining existing systems, while also participating in the project of migrating to the cloud-based platform.

In this capacity you will work closely with specialists from various other teams within the organisation, such as Risk Operations, Treasury and Technology.

Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will

· Be responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting and development of C# and python applications

· Design and implement cloud-based solutions

· Deploy and maintain databases used by the various teams within the risk management organization.

· Act as a software development mentor and guide within the team, when needed

· Participate in tech- as well as business-oriented projects, when needed
