Övergripande uppdragsbeskrivning
Description:
Mechanical Engineering encompasses a variety of engineering assignments such as planning, designing, and modifying machinery, equipment, and products. It also co-ordinates activities internally and with other groups to effectively accomplish objectives requiring knowledge of associated functions and related engineering fields. Use computers and selected programs for such matters as preparing reports and conducting analyses.
Independently perform various engineering duties requiring the exercise of judgment and application of standard engineering principles and practices, towards set goals. Plan, conduct or coordinate a range of complex engineering activities encompassing one or more engineering disciplines. Conduct or coordinate complex analyses, advanced technical studies and develop recommendations based on sound engineering practices and business considerations as well as potentially legal and other agency requirements.
Minimum requirements of education and experience:
• Minimum six (6) years of work experience within the relevant field and a bachelor or master’s degree, or
• Another technical degree with more than 15 years of work experience within relevant field.
• Working command of the English language.
Additional Hiring Information for Supplier
TASKS:
– Technical deliveries (including BOQ, load list, etc.) to tender/project/procurement team of the Climate/HVAC System.
– Have knowledge about the main circuit apparatus requirements in HVDC or high voltage areas.
– Familiar with understanding the Client’s Technical Specifications and ensuring the climate/HVAC system meet these as well as converter equipment requirements.
– Writing requirement specification and technical descriptions.
– Reviewing design, drawings and documents that are related to Climate/HVAC system.
– Coordinating end delivery of the climate/HVAC System and performing end-customer training for climate/HVAC system.
– Familiar with RAM study. Experience with RAM analysis in HVDC projects or other power plants is advantageous.
– Performing site inspection/commissioning and providing site support.
BACKGROUND/ REQUIREMENTS:
– The candidate should have Educational background within heat transfer and fluid mechanic field (B.Sc. or M.Sc.).
– Being familiar with the control of climate/HVAC system.
– Working experience with thermal modeling software is an advantage.
– Being engaged, ambitious, and driven individual who thrives in a constantly changing environment.
– Actively seek collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders, valuing diverse perspectives.
– Should be part of a global business, fluency in English is required, written, and spoken alike. Swedish is an added merit.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Assignment extension possible.
- Remote work possible but occasional office visits required.
- Can work from Ludvika or Västerås office.
EXPLANATION ON LEVELS:
Levels with numbers (1-5): Increasing experience from 1=Very Junior up to 5=Very Experienced
Levels with letters (A-F): Increasing experience from F=Very Junior up to A=Very Experienced

PLEASE NOTE: From the offered hourly rate, the contractual fee of 4.23% (MSP 2,13% + KeyMan 2,1%) will be deducted.
If we end up in a contract the consultant must undergo a drug test before the assignment can start. The consultant then also must have a certificate for SSG-Entré and sign a NDA.
Some remote work WITHIN SWEDEN may be possible, but Onsite preferred.
