Additional Hiring Information for Supplier
Position: SAP EWM Consultant.
Location: Ludvika, Sweden (preferred on-site at least 3 days per week).
Duration: Consultancy Assignment (6 months, with possibility of extension).
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant to support our warehouse operations in achieving significant efficiency improvements. The focus will be on optimizing processes in SAP S4/HANA and SAP EWM to reduce administrative effort, enhance material traceability, and streamline material delivery to the production line. The role will also address better utilization of hand scanners and improving integration with external warehouses and logistics partners.
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience:
• Proven expertise in SAP EWM and SAP S4/HANA, with experience in optimizing warehouse and material delivery processes.
• Experience with handheld/scanner devices and their integration with SAP systems.
• Familiarity with workflows related to external logistics providers and warehouses.
Technical Skills:
• In-depth knowledge of SAP EWM functionalities, including warehouse task management, inventory tracking, and staging processes.
• Strong understanding of material flow processes from warehouse to production.
Soft Skills:
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on practical, user-friendly solutions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across functional teams.
Education:
• A degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with engineer-to-order manufacturing environments.
• Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Knowledge of material traceability standards in manufacturing or logistics.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Warehouse Process Optimization:
• Evaluate and optimize current workflows in SAP EWM and SAP S4/HANA to reduce manual effort and improve overall efficiency.
• Implement advanced SAP EWM features to enhance the traceability of materials within the warehouse.
• Improve the use of handheld/scanner devices for real-time inventory management and process accuracy.
Streamline Material Delivery to Production Lines:
• Analyze and optimize the process for delivering materials from the warehouse to production lines, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
• Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to align delivery processes with operational requirements.
• Configure SAP EWM to support efficient picking, staging, and delivery workflows for production materials.
Integration with External Warehouses and Logistics Partners:
• Enhance SAP system interfaces for seamless communication with third-party warehouses and logistics providers.
• Ensure data consistency and real-time visibility for all external material movements.
Collaboration and Support:
• Work closely with warehouse staff, IT, and external stakeholders to identify pain points and implement tailored solutions.
• Provide end-user training and create documentation to support new processes and technologies.
BASIC DESCRIPTION:
Apply strong IS application technology knowledge and expertise to any application IS activity within all IS process domains, especially within BUILD and RUN to support global business needs and help solving difficult topics. IS capable to work independently. On assignment identifies, proposes, advises and implements existing IS application technology and IS solutions/services, sharing knowledge and depending on seniority – guiding others on implementation and operation, using understanding of existing IS application technology and business requirements.
Minimum requirements of education and experience:
• 5-8 years of work experience within the relevant field including leadership/management and a bachelor or master’s degree
• Another IT degree with more than 15 years of work experience within relevant field.
• Working command of the English language.
NOTE:
- On-site presence preferred at least 3 days per week.
- Interviews via Teams.
- Swedish strongly preferred.
EXPLANATION ON LEVELS:
Levels with numbers (1-5): Increasing experience from 1=Very Junior up to 5=Very Experienced
Levels with letters (A-F): Increasing experience from F=Very Junior up to A=Very Experienced

PLEASE NOTE: From the offered hourly rate, the contractual fee of 4.23% (MSP 2,13% + KeyMan 2,1%) will be deducted.
If we end up in a contract the consultant must undergo a drug test before the assignment can start. The consultant then also must have a certificate for SSG-Entré and sign a NDA.
Some remote work WITHIN SWEDEN is possible – however On-site presence preferred at least 3 days per week.
