Övergripande uppdragsbeskrivning
Our customer, a leader in the Paper and Pulp industry, is embarking on a strategic transition to a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (SAP S/4HANA). Our aim is to optimize our business processes, improve cross-departmental information flow, and enhance our data management capabilities.
We are seeking an experienced Test Manager to join our Atlas program team and manage the test dimension for the program. This includes leading the team of test leads within the different process teams as well as coordinating with other enabling teams such as infrastructure, legacy system owners, deployment team etc. The main responsibility for ERP implementation and testing lies with an implementation partner so this role will work closely with the test manager from this partner according to a defined responsibility matrix.
As the Test Manager you will drive all aspects, from strategy, to planning and execution of the UAT (User Acceptance Test). You will also be responsible for the strategic test management and enhancing the program methodology within the test area.
Main location is Solna Office, but the organisation has operations spread out in mainly Sweden, Finland and the US. Some travel will be part of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
· Strategic Test Management:
o Maintain and improve Atlas test strategy that aligns with the company’s transition to SAP S/4HANA and the ongoing use of a diverse set of systems.
o Create and enhance methodologies suitable for both purchased and custom-built systems, ensuring robust testing across all platforms.
· Process Improvement and Maturity Development:
o Evaluate the current testing processes and maturity level, identifying areas for improvement.
o Implement best practices in testing to enhance the overall quality and efficiency of the testing processes.
o Develop and enforce standards for software testing within the organization.
· Project Management:
o Oversee all testing phases of the SAP S/4HANA consolidation project, ensuring that testing is thorough, efficient, and effective.
o Primary responsible to manage the user acceptance testing phase.
o Manage timelines, resources, and budgets related to testing activities.
· Team Leadership and Management:
o Build and lead a testing team, providing guidance and training to elevate their skills and knowledge, especially in areas where the company currently lacks expertise.
o Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement in the testing team.
· Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
o Act as the primary liaison between the testing team and other departments, including IT, operations, and external vendors.
o Effectively communicate testing plans, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders at various levels.
· Technology and Tools:
o Implement testing tools and technologies that are compatible with both SAP S/4HANA and existing systems.
o Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in software testing and SAP solutions.
Skallkrav
Educational Background:
– Test management and communication skills
Bachelor or Master degree in applicable area is preferred
Experience with both custom-built and purchased systems, and a strong understanding of their integration challenges.
Hands-on experience with ERP implementations, particularly SAP S/4HANA.
Experience in developing and adopting fit-for-purpose methods and approaches
Strong test management abilities, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and meet deadlines
SAP system implementation experience is required, experience in process industry desirable.
Experience in Solution Manager/Focused Build tool is required
Fluency in English and Swedish in both verbal and written.
