We are now looking for a SE_R&D Engineer-E (R&D MECHANICS DEVELOPMENT Level is Engineer – level 2) to Hitachi Energy Sweden AB in Ludvika.

Description:

R&D MECHANICS DEVELOPMENT
R&D Mechanics development consists of requirement management, Mechanics design, Design reviews and functional verification. Besides meeting the functional requirements non-functional requirements such as cost, quality and time target shall be met. Work processes and associated tools are provided, and the expectation is that processes are followed and provided tools are used unless other agreements are made.

ENGINEER (qualification level 2)
Under general guidance of supervisor or more experienced engineer, perform various engineering duties requiring the exercise of judgment and application of standard engineering principles and practices. Pursue initiatives to improve effectiveness of the group and increase customer satisfaction or full fill legal or other agency requirements.

Minimum requirements of education and experience:
• 2-6 years of work experience within the relevant field and a bachelor or master’s degree, or
• Another technical degree with 10-15 years of work experience within relevant field.
• Working command of the English language.

R&D MECHANICS DEVELOPMENT
ENGINEER (qualification level 2)

For our research and development team at Transformers we are looking for an R&D Engineer for a project related to transformer windings. You will join our team at Technology Center in Ludvika. Your focus will be on developing and implementing CAD modules for mechanical design department.

Your responsibilities:
• Writing technical specifications based on electrical design requirements for development of windings.
• Create new or update existing Creo CAD models, drawings and layouts based on new specifications.
• Writing user guides for mechanical designers.
• Testing and verification.
• Supporting implementation.

Your background:
• You have a bachelor’ degree or higher in engineering.
• Some years of experience in mechanical design.
• Your knowledge in Creo CAD tool is at a high level.
• You communicate well in both written and spoken English.

Practical information about the position:
This contract is for 6 months and the placement will be at the Hitachi Energy factory in Ludvika, Sweden.

Remote – No, 100% at the office.
Extension after period – Yes.
English speaking – Mandatory
Swedish speaking – Not mandatory, but an advantage.
