We are now looking for a SE_Quality Engineering – Qualification Level 3 (QUALITY ENGINEERING SENIOR ENGINEER (qualification level 3) to Hitachi Energy Sweden AB in Ludvika.

QUALITY ENGINEERING
Develop and implementation of effective methods and procedures and the use of proper equipment to effectively respond to requirements for accuracy of products and services. Review and coordinate quality assurance and quality control specifications for a given task or framework (e.g., a project, a product line or unit). Develop or evaluate quality programs, measure quality activities and coordinate quality functions. Recommend and implement measures to improve effectiveness of quality operations and to ensure customer satisfaction

SENIOR ENGINEER (qualification level 3)
Independently perform various engineering duties requiring the exercise of judgment and application of standard engineering principles and practices, towards set goals. Plan, conduct or coordinate a range of complex engineering activities encompassing one or more engineering disciplines. Conduct or coordinate complex analyses, advanced technical studies and develop recommendations based on sound engineering practices and business considerations as Page 4 of 15 well as potentially legal and other agency requirements.

Minimum requirements of education and experience:
• Minimum six (6) years of work experience within the relevant field and a bachelor or master’s degree, or
• Another technical degree with 10-15 years of work experience within relevant field.
• Working command of the English language.

QUALITY ENGINEERING
SENIOR ENGINEER (qualification level 3)

HVDC is looking for a Supplier Quality & Development Engineer to work together with us in an international environment with plenty of opportunities. In this role you will be part of the Supplier Quality team that is dedicated to implement a culture and practice of excellence throughout the entire value chain of the organization, to increase customer satisfaction and improve profitability in a sustainable way. You will be working with supplier quality and development for HVDC Valve Components which could be described as the heart of the HVDC-station.

Your responsibilities:
1. Drive Quality for assigned suppliers, improving quality performance via Quality plan implementation
2. Support new supplier onboarding by ensuring a robust qualification process execution
3. Own supplier results as measured by key metrics and identify area for improvements utilizing Supplier scorecards
4. Manage supplier Nonconformities (containment action, corrective actions and Root Cause Analysis) and analyze periodically historical NC to drive improvement plan
5. Planning, Execution and Follow up of Surveillance Audits (Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement)
6. Lead Supplier Quality Reviews to drive Continuous Improvement
7. Support Supplier claim management process
8. The role requires travelling to suppliers for solving quality issues, quality process developments and inspection of components and products

Your background:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Production Engineering
2. 3+ years’ experience in quality roles in a multinational company
3. Green Belt certification is desirable
4. Experience in quality audit execution (certified quality auditor would be a plus)
5. Good knowledge or experience in manufacturing processes assessment
6. Experience in product qualification process (PPAP or similar)
7. Fluency in English – capability to lead technical conference calls, read drawings and procedures in English
8. Solid communication skills for cross functional and global team environments

Interview  – can be via Teams.
Remote work – is mostly ok, but 1-2 days per week on site in Ludvika will be preferred.
Extension – is not likely.
English – is mandatory.
Swedish – not mandatory, but a strong preference.
