We are looking for a consultant for one of our mechanical design groups, which currently consists of 3 system designers and 7 project designers. The assignment will consist of dimensioning of systems based on customer specifications and internal technical description. Calculations for, among other things, pressure drop, system volume, expansion volume and dimensioning of the expansion tank are made. The tasks also include creating flow charts that meet customer requirements and ensure a robust function as well as selecting components and making technical specifications for the larger components such as cooler, pump and engine. After internal and external review, the components must be entered into ERP-LN.
Either you are responsible for the system design in a project yourself or the work is done together with one of the other three system designers. It is important to have the ability to collaborate with the other designers in the projects as well as other internal and external contacts.
A large part of the customers are outside Sweden and we use both Swedish and English.
The designer should have at least 5 years of experience in pipe or system construction where dimensioning and functional issues have been a significant part. It can be from industrial cooling, water treatment, sewage treatment, biogas, ships, oil and gas or nuclear power.
The person must be able to manage himself to deliver on time, be thorough and curious, and preferably have a practical understanding of manufacturing and installation.
Remote work: onsite preferred, but possible after introduction, maximum 30%.
