Testledare

Our client, a well known compnay within the energy sector, has a need for a Test/Process Manager. This is a combined role of a person that can facilitate and execute a test process up until detailed level, representing the requirements and acceptance criteria as set in the Agreement with the Supplier. Secondary he/she will also participate in (ITIL) process creation discussions in relation to working processes (e.g. Incident Management) and represent the project to a certain extend which mainly implies internal (within company) coordination in order to create a position for the project.
 
 Our client will not create the test cases or execute them, but the consultant needs to make sure the Supplier does it according to set requirements and is executing and documenting it correctly and as such, act as a counterpart to the suppliers to ensure that requirements are met and is aligned with the clients organization. Furthermore, the person must be able to facilitate this through high quality communication and have a strong knowledge of test processes, test cases, test documentation and test acceptance. 
 
 The consultant we are looking for, needs to be an excellent communicator with a sharp eye for details and a strong sense of quality, with a better than average understanding of processes and a strong ability to document them correctly. He/She will also be involved in the process scope of the project, to document the working process of the client (mostly ITIL based). 

Be a part of a team that solves systematic quality issues within the electrical area at Volvo Buses. Once the team has been assigned a problem the work starts to really understand that specific system/component and what has been reported, finding the root cause and later doing the necessary changes (system/component/installation redesign etc.)to be able to finally implement a solution for the customers.
For the team to be effective various competences is needed – analyzing data, in design and in testing for both hardware and software (CAD/installation, wiring, function development, system architecture). And to be able to breakdown problems to what really matters.

For this position we look for someone:
• With background in system testing or system design
• Skilled in CAN and LIN communication
• With a good understanding of the product development fl ow and the product lifecycle from initial concepts toproduction and maintenance.
• That is real problem-solver and really believes that quality matters.
• With a positive attitude that can lead smaller investigations on their own but enjoys working in a team.
Other tools where knowledge is meritorious: Saber, CANalyzer/Canoe, IPEtronik and other types of relevantmeasuring/logging equipment
Also meritorious: experience in embedded E&E systems – preferably in the automotive industry, Driver license D,Knowledge of onboard communication technologies (Ethernet, diagnostic protocol etc.), telematics, familiar withVolvo IT systems and release processes
